2022 Year End Review
As 2022 draws to a close, I want to thank everyone who supported my small business for another great year! Here are a few highlights from 2022 and I am looking forward to the many new projects in 2023! -Kristy
Celebrating Milestones
This was a milestone year for franklinAve as we celebrated our five year anniversary! The concept began in 2017 as a creative design space for urban apartments and launched on May 1. The art gallery and local artist collaborations came shortly after. Read more about where the journey began here.
FRANKLINAVE.SPACE became an official Women’s Business Enterprise on June 20, 2022. WBNEC Certification is the most widely recognized and respected national certification for women-owned businesses in the U.S.
In The Media
Both the franklinAve.space website and founder Kristy DeGina were featured in several new publications this year from interior design projects to website design strategy to entrepreneurial small business advice. Visit our media page to read the online articles.
Our Interior Design Services expanded to virtual design this year now serving anyone, anywhere! We introduced new packages alongside our interior design package including home styling, holiday decorating, and virtual home staging. New features include 3D visualization options and shoppable mood boards. We continue to specialize in small spaces, but can now service a broader range of homes.
On The Site
The website continues to be a space for interior design, original artwork, and home decor that celebrates a neutral aestetic and practices warm minimalism. This year we launched a new TikTok page that highlights city living and small space design tips. Follow us for new home trends and more! We also added a professional page on LinkedIn to highlight blog posts and future career opportunities.
Two years ago we launched the online shop and in 2022 several categories were expanded and added including new Furniture, Home Fragrance, Art Prints, and Halloween. After the success of our first Holiday assortment in 2021, this year we expanded the collection and added the first every Holiday Gift Guide featuring local collaborations. We are exited to share new product launches for 2023 in January!
